How to fix or clean just about anything..

This is one of my new favourite books. Before I reach for the caustic cleaners, I now reference my "Extraordinary Uses" book. Look no further than your cupboard for a greener way to go. There must be 10 pages of uses for vinegar alone! In future blogs, I will pick some of my favourites but for now I'll give you tip #1.

To clean a comb, place 3 cups warm water and 2 tsp of baking soda in a dish. Place comb in the water and swirl a bit. Leave for at least half an hour, then rinse and voila! – your comb looks like new!
